1) Lay your hand flat on a table alongside a penny. Take a top-down ("bird’s-eye") photo.
2) Make sure to take separate, clear photos of each of your hands, fingers, and your thumbs. Make sure the penny is in view in each photo and that your hand lies completely flat to avoid distortion.
